Synergistic Modes of Action
Azoxystrobin (systemic) inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungi (FRAC Group 11), stopping spore germination and fungal growth. It moves translamilarly and systemically within the leaf, protecting new foliage. Chlorothalonil (contact) is a multi-site inhibitor (FRAC Group M5) that binds to fungal proteins, preventing spore development on the leaf surface. This dual action provides excellent protection and manages resistance risk.
Application Recommendations
