Mesosulfuron + Florasulam + MCPA 25OD: Premium Wheat Herbicide
Mesosulfuron Methyl 0.9% + Florasulum 0.6% + MCPA 23.5% 25OD (marketed under the trade name Triultra / Tri Ultra by Jaffer Agro Services) is a high-performance systemic weedicide. Formulated as an Oil Dispersion (OD), it targets both grassy (narrow-leaf) and broadleaf weeds in wheat crops, providing a comprehensive one-shot solution for weed management in Pakistan.
Synergistic Herbicide Chemistry
This weedicide combines three active ingredients with distinct modes of action. Mesosulfuron-methyl and Florasulam are ALS inhibitors (WSSA Group 2) that stop amino acid synthesis in weeds. MCPA acts as a synthetic auxin (WSSA Group 4), causing rapid hormonal imbalance and growth distortion. The oil dispersion formulation (OD) ensures the chemicals adhere tightly to waxy leaf surfaces, enhancing absorption and rain-fastness.
Weed Target Profile
In Pakistan's wheat belt, this herbicide controls key weeds including Wild Oats (Jangli Jai), Dumbi Sitti (Phalaris minor), Bathu (Chenopodium album), Lehli, and Shahtra. Applying it after the first or second irrigation when weeds are actively growing yields the best results.
Application and Spray Management
To avoid phytotoxicity (crop yellowing), follow dosage guidelines. Use 100-120 liters of water per acre with flat-fan nozzles for broad-spectrum coverage.
