Swing combines two proven systemic fungicides – Metalaxyl and Mancozeb – to protect wheat, rice, cotton and many vegetables against a broad spectrum of fungal diseases. Metalaxyl interferes with the pathogen’s RNA polymerase, halting cell division, while Mancozeb acts as a multi‑site oxidizing agent that disrupts fungal cell membranes. This dual‑mode of action reduces the risk of resistance development, a critical advantage in the high‑disease pressure zones of Central Punjab and the Indus Delta.
Target Diseases

Apply the fungicide at the early disease onset – typically 7‑10 days after sowing for wheat and at the 2‑leaf stage for rice seedlings. Avoid application when leaf temperature exceeds 35 °C or when the canopy is wet for more than 12 h, as this can increase the risk of phytotoxicity. After spraying, a light irrigation (≤ 10 mm) helps the product move into the leaf cuticle without runoff.

Always wear gloves, mask and goggles. Do not mix with copper‑based fungicides; antagonism can reduce efficacy. Observe a 7‑day pre‑harvest interval for leafy vegetables and a 3‑day interval for grain crops. Store the concentrate in a tightly sealed container, away from sunlight and moisture, and dispose of empty containers according to local hazardous‑waste guidelines.
